We start by looking up at the chimney pots to see a tombstone. This was put there to commemorate the death of a young chimney sweep working on this very building. We then consider the role of the railway in the history of Beccles. Although if you want, you could visit the railway station for this stop, there is not really much to see, so this section is best heard on one of the benches, watching the world go by!
