We emerge in Hungate which is one of the most attractive of Beccles's streets. We hear about the Beccles College, now no more, where the famous Edwardian cricketer, Gilbert Jessop was a pupil teacher. Walking up the road, we reach the Leman House which now houses Beccles's redoubtable museum. Jimmy Woodrow is our host, and tells us about both the museum and the building.
